Brand identity · Packaging
Plantlife
A brand as dependable as its seed.
A refreshed identity and a complete seed packaging system for Plant Life Zambia, built to read clearly from a 50g pack on a dealer's shelf to a roadside billboard.
The brief
Plantlife supports Zambian farmers with quality horticultural solutions. The brand needed to look as dependable as its seed.
We developed a refreshed identity and a cohesive packaging system, then extended the brand across print, communications and promotional applications.
Transformation
From crest
to signature.
The previous crest became a single, simpler mark: a letterform that grows into a leaf, clear at any size.
Before
A detailed shield with illustrated roots and serif capitals — rich in meaning, but crowded at the small sizes a seed pack demands.
→
After
One continuous stroke: a ‘P’ that grows into a leaf, held in a circle. Fewer parts, instant recall, and room to scale.
The selected mark
A letter that grows.
The stem
The upright of the ‘P’ rises from a single stroke, like a seedling breaking soil.
The leaf
The bowl of the letter opens into a leaf — the clearest sign of growth.
The root
The base curls outward into a root line, grounding the mark.
The circle
A closed form that holds up as a pack badge, a sticker or an app icon.
Colour
Leaf, field
& slate.
Colour studies tested gradient and navy pairings before settling on a flat leaf green and a cool slate, supported by field green, sky blue and mist.

Posters & social
Beyond
the pack.
Product posters, agro-dealer roadshows, national moments and partner launches — each one anchored by the stacked logo and the tagline.
Company profile
The brand,
in print.
A landscape company profile introduces the business, its partnerships and its clientele, using the same aerial field and clean green panels as the packs.
Brand applications
Small enough to stick
anywhere.
Monogram stickers seal packs, boxes and dealer stock — the mark at its simplest — and the same mark carries onto vehicles.
